Everyone that loves books is welcome to join us at the Main Library on the first Monday of the month (unless it falls on a holiday then we will change the meeting to the following Monday.)

The Wiregrass Book Lovers Discussion Group started more than ten years ago. We are excited to have a new book club to share a love of reading with our community!  The Wiregrass Book Lovers will meet once a month to discuss a book previously selected. Their preferences are historical,  historical fiction, biographies, suspense,  and any other book especially if it is from an author from the Wiregrass Region.

 

JANUARY   The Underground Library by Jennifer Ryan 
The library that existed in the London underground subway during WWII    

FEBRUARY The Frozen River by Ariel Lawhon 
Based on the journal kept by a midwife in 18th century.                            
 
MARCH The Magnolia Palace by Fiona Davis 

The secrets, betrayal and murder during the Gilded Age in NY city, the mystery of the murder of Henry Clay Frick.  A 21 yrs old model is accused of the murder.

APRIL Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver
