DESCRIPTION:Think you are good at jigsaw puzzles? Why not test those skill
 s at our Speed Puzzling Competition at our Main Library! Compete as a grou
 p of 2 to 4 people to see which team can finish first. When registering, o
 nly one person should register for their entire team. The registered perso
 n will be the contact in case we need to contact your team. Please indicat
 e how many people will be on your team by answering the question at regist
 ration. Each team will receive an identical puzzle to complete , and all p
 articipants will start at the same time. The first team to finish within t
 he allotted time will each get a prize and bragging rights.  General Rul
 es:Teams of 2–4 people are allowed to participate. When registering, onl
 y one person should register for their entire team. The registered person 
 will be the contact in case we need to contact your team. Please indicate 
 how many people will be on your team by answering the question at registra
 tion.Each team will be given an identical 500-piece puzzle and will have t
 heir own table to work on their puzzle. You must remain in your assigned s
 pace. You may be disqualified if you interfere with the progress of anothe
 r team or competitor. Only participants over 13 years old are accepted, u
 nless they are accompanied by a parent or guardian who is competing with t
 hem as a team.Until the staff member indicates the start of the competitio
 n and starts the timer, the participants cannot move or touch the jigsaw p
 uzzle boxes that are on the table.All the tables will be numbered and assi
 gned to teams. The doors will open at 5:30 pm and the clock will start at 
 6:00 pm. Any group or competitor who arrives late will still be allowed to
  compete, but will not be given any additional time.There will be no sched
 uled breaks, but competitors are allowed to leave the table at any time wh
 ile the competition continues. However, they will not be given any additio
 nal time nor will their time pause while they are away. No food or drinks
  will be allowed on the puzzle tables.The official timer will be visible a
 t the front of the room, but participants are free to bring their own time
 rs if they wish.Participants will only be able to assemble the jigsaw puzz
 le on their assigned table and within the competition venue. Headphones a
 re allowed as long as the volume is kept low enough that it does not distu
 rb other participants.Groups who have finished their puzzles will be allow
 ed to remain in the competition area only as long as they do not disrupt t
 he other competitors.Prizes will only be awarded to the team that correctl
 y finishes first.  In the event that no teams finish before the time limi
 t, the winner will be the one who has correctly placed the largest number 
 of pieces. All the jigsaw puzzles used in the competitions are the proper
 ty of the participants once the competition is finished.Spectators will be
  allowed to watch the competition as long as they do not disrupt the compe
 titors.
