Teen RECHARGE!

A place for teens (13-19) to hang out, mess around, and geek out with others their age.  S.T.E.A.M.-based activities such as robotics, 3D pens, crafts, art, video games, etc. will be available to all at no charge. Registration is not required each week, but our space is limited to the first 25 teens!

Teen RECHARGE will be available most Mondays from 3:30-5:00 PM at the Main Library.

Although we ask that no parent participate, we do require a parent or guardian's name and contact.

Let's Build It! Youth Lego Club

Let's Build It! Lego Club

Join in on the fun at our monthly Let's Build It! Youth Lego Club, where we promote creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, all while having a blast!

Parents, while registration is not required, space and Legos will be limited. Please note that this event is intended for children aged 5-12 only. The library will supply all Legos, which will remain on DHCLS property.

Tween Club

Tweens! 

This month's STEAM activity will be Stap Circuits. Kids will be introduced to the basic properties of electricity and electronics. They will learn the fundamentals behind circuitry and how circuits are used in devices we use today. 

Students will be able to re-create circuits of various functionalities such as shining a light bulb, spinning a motor, or both

Join us to experiment and explore all things STEAM at our Main Library. Participate in a variety of fun, educational, and hands-on activities, including building challenges, science experiments, and fun with various STEAM educational toys.

 

Registration is required!

Parents: please know that space is limited. We kindly ask that you wait inside the library, outside of our program room, while your tween participates. Tween Club is for tweens ages 8-12 only.
