_____
Every year, writers from all walks of life gather—on the page, if not in person—to celebrate the power of poetry. The contest welcomes seasoned poets, curious beginners, and everyone in between, offering a warm space to share original work, experiment with new ideas, and connect with a community that values creativity. Participants are encouraged to explore any style or theme, from quiet reflections to bold declarations. Winning entries are honored not just for technical skill, but for heart, voice, and the ability to move readers.
To cap off the celebration, all winners will be recognized at a special poetry reading night. It’s an open, welcoming event where the winning poets—and anyone else who feels inspired—can step up to the mic and share their work. Whether you’re submitting your first poem or your fiftieth, the contest and the reading night together create a space to be heard, be inspired, and be part of something creative and communal.
