Program Description

Event Details

Help us make our new Lit Quilt! Beginning, today, May 21, 2024, stop by any DHCLS location to pick up your fabric square and instruction sheet. The activity is for ages 3-18.

We kindly ask that if you take a square, you return it completed. 

Entry Guidelines:

  • Your decorated square should be based on a book character.
  • DO NOT CUT YOUR SQUARE!
  • Please leave a 1-inch border around the edges.
  • You can decorate your square with markers, crayons, colored pencils, paint, or pens.
  • Please do not use glitter or glue.
  • Please return your completed square to any DHCLS location no later than July 1, 2024,  for entries to be included in our quilt.
