FOL Big Book Sale!

Thanks to the generosity of Dothan’s Leisure Services Department, the Big Book Sales are at the Westgate Recreation Center Gym at 501 Recreation Road in Dothan. It is across the parking lot from the Westgate Branch Library.

THOUSANDS of books, DVDs, CDs, vinyl records, vintage books, and other items available for purchase.

Hardcover = $2, paperback = $1, children’s = 50¢, DVDs/CDs/audiobooks = $1, vintage items are individually priced.

Books are neatly displayed. Fiction books are organized by author’s last name. Nonfiction books are sorted into categories (history, cookbooks, poetry, etc.).

Book transporters are typically available to assist shoppers. However, feel free to bring rolling carts, wagons, boxes or bags.

Cash, check and credit cards are accepted.

Members Only Sale

• FOL Members shop early and have access to ALL the books!
• Show your FOL membership card (mailed with your membership thank you note and coupons) for express entry at the door.
• Join at the door with a minimum $5 membership.
• A membership is required for each household.
• 3 food trucks will be available!!!

Public Sale

•  Prices will decrease to half price and then 25¢ per item.
• All remaining items are free on the last day.

Prices

o Hardcover = $2

o Paperback = $1

o Children’s = 50¢

o CDs/DVDs/Vinyl Records = $1

o Vintage and Like-new items are individually priced

o You can also stuff a provided paper grocery sack full (of items that are not individually priced) for $20

o Prices drop to half price and then everything is 25¢

o On the last day EVERYTHING is FREE! Remaining free items are moved to front porch area of the Westgate Library where they are accessible 24 hours a day until they are gone.
