Program Description

Event Details

Do you have a big kid who loves STEM? Then come to our Ashford Branch and learn to build a Drawbot. Drawbots are rebuildable, reusable machines that learners build using repositionable foam components, a motorized weight, and markers to create swirling, spinning drawings. The project introduces mechanical vibration, iteration, and engineering design while emphasizing creative exploration and working through challenges.

Daycares and large groups

Due to limited space, daycares and large groups will not be permitted unless otherwise scheduled before the event. 

Instructional class

Since this is an instructional class, we kindly ask that you arrive before the start of the class start time so that we can start on time. Latecomers will not be permitted once instruction begins.
