Event Details

The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Dothan Branch meets on the
second Wednesday of the month to present current Civil Engineering related topics and
practices. The meeting topics range from construction projects in Dothan and the
surrounding area to the design, manufacture, and installation of materials. All who
attend the meeting will receive a certificate for one professional development hour
(PDH). Everyone is welcome.
Civil Engineering is the technical design, maintenance, and construction of
projects like roads, bridges, buildings, ports, and sewer systems. It also includes
maintenance and management of the natural environment in areas like floodplain
management and erosion control.
